Deadline for Nominations -
March 15, 2027
Application coming January 2027!. Elections will be held during the Business Meeting at Convention 2027
President Elect
* Preside in the absence of the President
* Coordinate membership awards.
* Keep award applications updated and current for the web site.
* Appoint award committee to review applications and make award
decisions.
* Obtain plaques or certificates for award winners.
* Set deadlines for receiving award applications and review criteria.
* Notify all members of categories and guidelines of available awards,
as well as, deadline dates at least two months prior to stipulated
deadline.
* Serve as coordinator of the Membership Committee. .
Public Relations Director
Chair the public relations committee.
Prepare an electronic newsletter for the organization in fall and spring of each year.
Prepare the convention booklet.
Update website as needed.
Coordinate Scholars' Bowl.
Lead in any public display or newsworthy event of the organization.
Nominations Committee Members
• The first committee member shall be elected at the annual meeting for a three-year term. The newly elected member will serve two yeasr as a committee member, and will serve as the committee chairperson in the third year of the term
• The purpose of the committee shall be to prepare a slate of officers with biographies for election.
• Nomination Committee Chairperson and member shall not hold a positon on the Board of Directors.
